Technical Game Designer
HOWDY!
I'm Sterling, a technical game designer with experience in both the AAA and indie spaces. I currently work at Blizzard Entertainment as a tech designer on World of Warcraft: Classic.
Previously, I worked as a gameplay engineer at Gamebreaking Studios, where I did contract gameplay programming and technical design for a variety of clients.
While studying computer science at USC, I served as the creative director of my 20-person capstone project, Pelota, which went on to headline the 2021 USC Games Expo. I also had the opportunity to work on original gameplay prototypes for PC, mobile, and VR as an intern at Wonder Assembly.
Outside of game development I enjoy cooking, competitive fighting games, and playing the bass.
